Sunday School

Our Sunday school runs from 9:30-10:30 AM. We have classes for everyone! Our classes are:

  • Toddler/Pre-School
  • K – Grade 1
  • Grades 2 – 4
  • Grades 5 – 6

Children’s Church

During our adult morning worship service, children ages 2 through third grade have their own service which starts at 10:45 AM. Children sing, worship, pray and fellowship together. They learn about Jesus, his love for us and how he takes care of us. For children under two years old, we do have a nursery available.

Pioneer Clubs

Why not come and join us each Wednesday evening for Pioneer Clubs? Pioneer Clubs is a church-sponsored weekly club program for boys and girls age 2 through grade 6. This Christ-centered program integrates spiritual and personal development, emphasizes evangelism and discipleship and gives children opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, have fun and develop Christian values that affect every area of their lives.

What are Pioneer Clubs' Goals?

To enable children to enter into a personal relationship with Christ and to know his Word.
To enable children to form healthy relationships.
To enable children to grow as whole persons.
To enable adults to understand children and help them develop.

Classes are listed below:

Scooters - Age 2 - K
Voyagers - Gr. 1 & 2
Pathfinders - Gr. 3 & 4
Trailblazers - Gr. 5 & 6

We meet each Wednesday, from 7-8 PM in the basement of the Gearhartville Free Methodist Church located at 344 Blue Spruce Road. Children can join at any time througout the year. Many of the meetings and events are listed below:

9, 16, 23 & 30 - Regular Club Meetings

February
6, 13 & 20 - Regular Club Meetings
27 - Awards Night from 7-8 PM at Fellowship Hall

March
5, 12, 19 & 26 - Regular Club Meetings

April
2 - Regular Club Meeting.
9 - Talent Show Details & Practice
16 - Talent Show Practice
23 - Talent Show; 7-8 PM at the church
30 - TBA.

May
7 - End of Year Banquet (details to be announced at a later date).

Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts

Our church sponsors Cub Scout Pack 44 and Boy Scout Troop 44.

Cub Scouts - meet Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Gearhartville Free Methodist Church and Fellowship Hall. Boys in First through Fifth grade can join at any time. Boy Scouts - meet Saturdays from 10-11:45 AM at the Gearhartville Free Methodist Fellowship Hall. Boys in Sixth grade and older can join any time.
